BosuIn the early morning I went to the gym for a 25-minute cardio on the elliptical machine with a power Headcleaner music. I even got a complement from my friend: “I’m like a maniac on that thing!” –yep!  push yourself like no one is watching – you’re doing it for yourself!

After that I did walking lunges with bosu in my hands in front of me (round side forward). On every lunge I would pause to extend the bosu to my left and then right side (obliques), then straight up above my head (shoulders). Then directly from the lunge I would put the bosu on the ground in front of me (flat side up), kick my forward leg backwards to match the back leg, and do a push up with my hands on the bosu (core and triceps). Then get the leg which was leading the lunge back to the bosu, stand up straight and transition into the next lunge with the other leg leading. I followed that with a full set of ab exercises and a quick stretching session to finish the workout.  After the cardio like that you keep your metabolism running hot for hours!

When you workout in the morning (medium intensity) with a near empty stomach (just water, apple, and bioactive beverage) your body has no choice but to use your fat storage as the source of energy. In addition to that, and because of the residual metabolism activity, morning workouts are said to be 300% more effective than the day workouts.

If you do a morning workout AND an afternoon workout… woah baby!

Having said all that, today was the last of the FIT Reset cleansing and I wasn’t expecting to be in the bathroom multiple times during one day. But with a great feeling of lightness as if I were on the Moon I wasn’t complaining.
